It has always been this way.  

It is a challenge for Black women and white women to come together and stay together in work around women’s issues. 

Real-life occurrences, not too terribly long ago, like these continue to impact us today. Some of us continue to try to resolve these issues within ourselves. 

It has always been this way and it will only change once it is intentionally and mindfully changed. 

It is true that white women are oppressed due to sexism and misogyny.  And it is also true that Black women face oppression from white women due to racism and misogynoir. 

Minds must be opened. Hearts must be opened. Minds must be changed. Hearts must be changed.

Or, there will be no change.
