It is so frustrating to see.

In the west, the women’s rights that women fought, sacrificed, and died for are being taken for granted long before all women and girls around the world can even get a chance to enjoy them.

Surrendering the rights of women and girls to males has never ended well for women. When it comes to women’s rights, we still have a lot further to go. But we will never get there at this rate.

Human rights rarely work on autopilot.
