I can make a difference
I have the ability to make a difference. I have skills, talents, and I overcame tragedy of the worst kind.
Most importantly, I want to make a difference. That alone makes it highly likely that I can make a difference.
I do things to make a difference each day. It is part of who I am.
The lives of my family and friends are better just because I am part of their lives.
I am there for them when they need me and make a regular habit of doing good deeds for them. It feels good to know I affect the lives of others in a positive way.
When I am faced with an injustice and feel too small to make a difference, I recall all the wonderful people from history that have made a difference as individuals against terrible odds.
I remember that it only takes one person to make a difference. It only takes a small act. I always have the power to make a difference right now.
I think about all the things around me that could use improvement. I know that I am the one that can bring about change. All I have to do is decide to act.
I am a difference maker. I am unstoppable. I make a plan and follow it to completion. And, it is as good as done.
Today, I know I can make a difference in at least some small way. I remember all the differences I have made in the past and choose to make an even bigger difference today.
Talking with Myself:
1. What are some ways I’ve made a difference in the past?
2. What can I do today to make a difference?
3. What is stopping me from making a difference?
