Violation is the Crime (Post Compilation)

I know everyone is short on time. So here’s a post compilation.

One of the biggest obstacles to getting judges, attorneys, and political leaders to grasp the gravity of stalking is this:

They don’t understand that the violation of a woman’s space is the crime.
The violation of her “no,”
her “leave me alone,”
her “get away from me,”
was all the warning anyone should have needed.

But they ignore it.
They dismiss it.
And then, after the worst happens,
they go before the cameras and say,
“No one could have seen this coming…”

Thousands of women and our grieving, infuriated loved ones know otherwise.
We keep our distance—not out of silence or acceptance—but to keep the attention on the victim.
To keep the media from twisting our justified rage into a spectacle.
To keep the focus on the loss.
But we see. We always saw.

Let it be known:

When it comes to male violence against women,
violation of our boundaries is not a red flag.
It is the first act of the worst thing that could happen.

Stop waiting for blood to call it violence.
The trespass is the truth.
The “no” is enough.
