People don’t listen to women and children.
Not even when we bring a mountain of proof.

So no—
Don’t add more hoops, more exceptions, more “what abouts” to laws that are supposed to protect us.
Don’t make our safe spaces less safe by stuffing more people inside because they say they belong there, because they feel entitled to be there, because they demand that we should just “get to know them better.”

(“Just relax, baby.”)
That line has harmed enough of us already.

No.
We will not adjust.
We will not accommodate our own erasure.
We will not make room for people stealing our opportunities, safety, and dignity—and calling it progress.

Stop Violating Us.

Stop violating women and children.
Stop calling it misunderstanding.
Stop calling it inclusion.
Stop calling us crazy for naming the harm that you keep allowing, excusing, and ignoring.

We see it.
We’ve seen it.
We’ve lived it.

And now we’re saying:
You don’t get to keep building walls around us and calling it freedom.
