When it comes to violence and abuse,  critical thinking is vitally important.  How would we know the difference between what is true and what is false? What is real and what is fantasy?  


It isn’t possible to have virtues and values like

 freedom, 

liberation, 

safety,

 equality, and 

justice without 

truth and honesty.  


I would argue that we can’t have truth and honesty without critical thinking. Critical thinking is required to decide on objective truths.
