Give Women a MINUTE!

 UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The Supreme Court of the United States of America just overturned Roe V. Wade.  Everywhere you look people are angry. 

BUT….

In the midst of their anger, groups from all corners are submitting their demands to women about “how” they want us to fight this war. 

We are women. WE are people. We have families, futures, careers, educations, relationships, & loved ones to consider. 

WE have lives. 

If you could just refrain from asking women to do anything this weekend,

perform something just the way you like it….

give us time to process and collect our thoughts….strategize.

That would be great!

People have an abundance of nerve.

You want women to fight this War on Women ANNDDD make you comfortable while we do it “so you will …say you are going to help us fight.”

Even on an extremely sad, raw, harsh, uncertain & terrifying day for women & girls, there are special requests & more things to put on our “must-do” list.

Day One. A flood of empathy? compassion? money even?

More requests for service as if we work for you.

“Say it this way…”

“Do it this way….”

“Don’t say this….”

“Oh remember this…..”

“Remember, MY rules, MY priorities, MY agenda are REALLY what is important here.”

This decision by the Supreme court is a women’s rights & women’s health issue completely based on sex-based oppression.
Same as it always has been.

Any people who care are free to support women & girls in the ongoing fight against sex-based oppression.

If you require that women, –embattled, terrified, worried, overburdened, & concerned women– make you comfortable, cozy, & warm while we fight like hell for our rights….maybe this isn’t for you.

Leave us or support us, but don’t dare burden us at this our time of need.
