đˇheaded into the fourth of July, right?…….Freedom?
Because theyâd rather keep us on defense
than dare teach him self-control.
Because itâs easier to hand us rules
than hold him accountable for crimes.
Because itâs always âDonât walk alone,â
Never: âDonât stalk women.â
Because they raised whole generations of boys
to believe violence is desire
and silence is consentâ
and called it culture, not corruption.
đĽ The Central Healing Truth:
The world often asks women to contort our lives to avoid male violenceâ
instead of demanding that men unlearn it.
This is not just dangerous.
Itâs soul-twisting.
We werenât born to be suspicious of our drinks,
our bodies, our laughter, our joy.
We werenât born to be punished
for being trusting, soft, or free.
We werenât born to be huntedâ
then blamed for walking outside.
đĽ Soul Notes from Survivors :
I grew up thinking vigilance was virtue.
That if I just stayed alert enough, I’d be safe.
But the truth? My freedom shouldn’t have to be earned through exhaustion. They said, âBe careful.â
I say, âBe accountable.âThey said, âBoys will be boys.â
I say, âThen men will face the truth.âI am not the crime scene.
I am the witness, the evidence, and the resurrection.
đŹ Survivor Affirmations:
Say them. Whisper them. Write them in your bones.
I was never the danger.
I donât owe this world my silence.
My safety is not a suggestion.
Their comfort is not my responsibility.
My boundaries are sacred terrain.
I am allowed to call harm what it is.
And I still get to thrive, not just survive.
âđž Closing Benediction:
To every Survivor who was ever told to watch her cup, her skirt, her tone, her face…
You were never the problem.
You come from people who sang to the stars and named the wind.
You carry the kind of wisdom that shakes systems.
So let them whisper, let them scoff.
You are building a new worldâone truth at a time.
And in this one, we teach:
âDonât drug someone.â
âDonât harm someone.â
âDonât confuse power with permission.â
We are no longer shrinking.
We are speaking.
We are surviving out loud.
Note: Celebrate freely but please don’t operate vehicles of any kind under the influence.
Remember our PTSD sufferers when you launch those fireworks please?
