Folks get mad when women & girls say: “We don’t owe you….”
I want to see you get mad for the times when males live that out.
When they don’t believe they owe people safety, nonviolence, freedom from rape, abuse, & hate.
All women & girls said is we don’t owe you access.
If you ever wonder how families of child sexual abuse victims could blame the victim…
Look no further than the people ignoring the voices of women & girls regarding safety & safeguarding.
THEN, calling them bigots for good measure.
That’s how.
Men have *long* believed that they don’t owe women & girls safety, fair wages, equal pay, equal rights, financial support for children, bodily autonomy… But you choose to get angry about women denying the general public at-will access to themselves & their children?
These new movements come out the gate expressing hate and scorn for entire groups of already struggling people, then pretend to be astonished when people have the good sense & intelligence not to support them.
Women and girls, your attention, love, beauty, smile & personality is rare and special.
It is uniquely valuable.
It isn’t meant to be easy to access just because someone else wants access to you.
So?
Laws around single-sex spaces for women & girls are due to the continued abuse, violence, & nastiness of males.
This has gotten worse for females & not better.
People are blaming females for male behavior AND expecting us to ignore reality & risk our lives.
Or else.
Finding an intimate relationship is like going to a restaurant and ordering specifically what nourishes you.
Intimate relationships are not a cheap buffet. Everyone you like isn’t required to be open to being with you, nor you with them.
When your cause is boldly & openly racist with special hate & disregard for Black females, as a Black woman, I’d be a fool to support it.
In the lives of women & girls too many extremely painful & complicated issues get dumbed down to asking the female:
“But were you nice to people though?”
Translation: “Were you a good girl?”
The quest for total & complete male domination over women and children has never ended.
People walk around acting as if there was this one day in the past when that was officially declared to be over.
It is still going full speed.
It is perfectly okay for a woman to hold an opinion that isn’t considered “nice”.
