For many men, all of life is a measuring contest.
Who has more. Who is stronger. Who commands the most followers, the highest salary, the biggest platform.
And too often, that mindset infects everything—including who is believed, who is heard, and who gets to speak about harm.

In this world, the right to speak about violence and abuse often comes down to:

  • Power

  • Race

  • Money

  • Gender

  • Academic degrees

  • Party affiliation

  • Social media reach

  • Proximity to privilege

That is not justice. That is a hierarchy.

And as women, especially those of us who are leading, advocating, building movements, and holding space—
We must be careful not to become that way too.

The Fight for Our Safety Is Not a Popularity Contest

We are living through a time of voyeurism, exhibitionism, and spiritual disconnection.
Where abuse becomes “content.”
Where boundaries are mocked.
Where only the loudest or best-dressed pain gets seen.

But let’s be clear:

Safety is not a brand.
Healing is not a competition.
And being heard should never require credentials.

We Must Stay Rooted in Our Humanity

Not for their sake—
Not to save men, or to impress systems that have never protected us—

But for our sake.
To stay connected to our own sacred humanity.

Because if we lose that?
We lose everything.

We Are Human Beings

We are not concepts, archetypes, or trends.
We are human beings.
Female human beings.

Capable of being:

  • Harmed

  • Exploited

  • Erased

  • Silenced

  • Sacrificed

Because of the very thing that makes us miraculous:
Our femaleness.

Every Voice Matters—Equally

When a wealthy woman with a Ph.D. speaks about abuse, we listen.
But we also listen just as deeply when a poor, unhoused woman tells her story.

Because the truth doesn’t come dressed in degrees.
It comes wrapped in pain. In resilience. In courage.
And it rises from every corner of society.

We do not rank pain here.
We do not build podiums to crown the most “credible” Survivor.
We do not throw each other under the bus to earn applause.

We believe in collective dignity.
We believe in many truths, many stories, many paths to healing.
We believe in honoring every woman’s voice—because we know what it costs to speak.

Our Movement Is Not Measured—It Is Felt

We measure our movement not by fame or funding,
but by the hearts we reach,
the violence we interrupt,
and the lives we protect.

We are not building pyramids of prestige.
We are building altars of truth.
Places where every woman—whether crowned or cast out—can speak, be heard, and be held.

🕯️ A Gentle Reminder

Sisters, we are not here to win status in a broken system.
We are here to end violence.
To protect one another.
To see each other.
To hold space for truths that aren’t “polished” but are real.

Let’s never forget:
The goal is not just to be heard.
The goal is to be safe.
