The work of women’s safety, women’s rights, women’s liberation and women’s healing is not a music and entertainment battle. An anonymous person holds a cardboard sign reading 'Love Shouldn't Hurt' outdoors, advocating against violence.

When our movements turn inward and begin to devour one another, oppressors can simply sit back and watch. The energy that could’ve gone toward changing laws, building sanctuaries, or educating the next generation gets burned up in online arguments and ideological “purity” tests.

Oppression doesn’t flinch when women’s activists/advocates argue over semantics. It gets comfortable.
But it does flinch when women unite to defend boundaries, safety, and truth.

🌾 Truth Before Performance

Showponying — the kind that parades how smart one woman is, where another went to school, or how many followers someone else has — doesn’t free the women sleeping in cars tonight to escape violent relationships.

It doesn’t help the woman who came from abroad believing she’d met her prince charming, only to find herself under the control of a man who speaks the language better, knows the laws more intimately, and uses both to enslave her.

It doesn’t protect the woman who just wants peace — but can’t get it — because the police can’t help her until he “does something.”
As if showing up everywhere she goes isn’t doing something.

There are women out here fighting for their lives, not for recognition.
While others climb the ladder, get the social clout, and the views; some are just praying to survive another week. We gotta have their back.

So if our women’s work doesn’t reach her, shield her, or speak her name —
then it’s not liberation. It’s performance.

🔥 WE Must Use All Passion and Energy for Strategy

  • Rape, abuse, coercion, trafficking — these are real battlefronts.
When the focus stays there, it births clarity, compassion, and solidarity.
  • Power and systems — that’s where oppression hides.
That’s where our energy belongs: in unmasking patterns, not personalities.
  • Healing and strategy — those are the twin pillars that build longevity.
You can tell the truth, walk in power, and refuse to let distraction become your mission.

💫 Affirmation

“My voice is for truth, not for tussling.
I don’t battle allies; I build fortresses.
I don’t chase noise; I guard the sacred.”
