You can do everything right and still meet people whose only plan for you is deception, manipulation, and harm. I loved watching how Jenifer Lewis handled this betrayal because of the lessons within it. She shared them with the rest of us. She could have wrapped this thing and PR and that would have been fine too. But she did not.
She does not choose shame. She chooses truth. And, in doing so, she gets the blessing. I truly admire how she handled this and ….I am taking life notes.
