We must have wisdom in our voting and political process. We live in a society that hungers for things adjacent to the new and the young. That’s beautiful. That’s how societies have always evolved.
And if societies are going to survive, they turn to the older and wiser, those who have been there and survived that, so that they can keep progressing…..and evolving.

There is a lot of anger right now, and I think anger can be extremely healthy. Anger is like that harsh summer storm offering relief after a hot day in July. Clarity, relief, and breath. There are accusations that some of us who faced the truths, some of them ugly, with courage-think that we are “clairvoyant.”
We live in a time where voices can have their say before millions instantly. The urgent challenge before us, though, is to learn and embrace discernment. Not every person speaking deserves our attention and most certainly not leadership positions.
You can’t replace truth and reality with enthusiasm, passion, and dismissiveness. At least not on a long-term basis. After awhile, truth will show up when it gets good and damn ready. The more wedded and devoted to untruths you are—in spite of evidence to the contrary- the more personally offended you will be when the truth shows up.
