Black History Month is not a highlight reel. It is a living inheritance. A remembering of courage carried quietly, brilliance cultivated against the odds, and truth passed hand to hand when history tried to look away. This month invites us to honor the fullness of Black life. The labor, the love, the artistry, the resistance, the faith, the everyday wisdom that shaped nations and continues to shape futures.
We celebrate not to freeze Black history in the past, but to recognize it as present, breathing, and worthy of care, protection, and joy.
