At this point in my life, I choose to disaffiliate with people who do not want to understand this the same way that I part ways with people who do not want to understand other power imbalances that relate to race, womanhood, children, the elderly and people with disabilities. Not out of a sense ‘moral superiority’ or anything like that.

But I have been on this planet long enough to recognize that such people are a threat to safety, health, well-being, and sanity.

Intentionally or unintentionally.
