No matter the group of men who disregard female humanity—who they like, who they don’t like, what they like- the tactics of misogynistic males remain about the same…..

No updates required in a male-centered world such as ours. The tactics used on your grandmothers are the same tactics used against you today.

Misogynist gaslighting is not just individual.
It’s systemic, strategic, and silencing.

Here’s how it works—over and over again:

1. Women Set Boundaries → Labeled Aggressors

When women say no, draw a line, or claim space—
they’re accused of being mean, bitter, hostile, or “too emotional.”

2. Self-Protection is Framed as Hate

A woman says:

“I don’t feel safe.”
They respond:
“Why are you being so hateful?”
Because apparently, protecting yourself = oppressing others.

3. The Real Harm is Erased

Your fear, trauma, lived experience?
Minimized. Ignored. Laughed off.
You’re told it’s not real, not serious, or that you misunderstood the danger.

4. The Man Becomes the “Victim”

Suddenly, the focus shifts.
The man’s feelings are centered.
The p

ublic is asked to feel sorry for him—because he was “excluded,” “misunderstood,” or “unfairly judged.”

5. You’re Forced to Defend Your Own Pain

Instead of accountability, you’re asked to prove your harm.
Again. And again.
Your trauma becomes a courtroom, and your safety, and whether you even deserve it, becomes a debate.

6. Silence is Framed as Maturity

You’re pressured to “rise above.”
To “keep the peace.”
To “be the bigger person.”
Translation: Don’t make it uncomfortable for us to ignore what happened to you.

7. And If You Speak Out Anyway?

You’re punished.
Ostracized. Labeled toxic.
Sometimes even by your own community. Especially when the man doing the harm is charismatic, powerful, or seen as one of “ours.”

🧨 But Here’s the Truth:

Women protecting themselves is not hate.
Wanting to feel safe is not cruelty.
Speaking truth is not violence.

Gaslighting is designed to confuse us into silence.
But we remember.
We resist.
We speak anyway.
