Every day, people step into rideshare vehicles hoping to get from point A to point B. But some never make it there safely.
Ride hail assault is more common than most of us think—and tragically, far less reported than it should be.
🚨 Here’s what you need to know:
New York Times has done an eye opening investigative report.
Many Survivors never come forward.
Some are afraid of not being believed.
Others are unsure what to do or where to turn.
Many fear retaliation, blame, or judgment.
But here’s the truth we stand on:
Your silence does not invalidate your story.
Your fear does not erase what happened.
You are not alone—and you have rights.
If you were assaulted during a rideshare trip—whether the driver was with Uber, Lyft, or another service—you may be entitled to legal support, protection, and justice.
But whether you choose that route or not, you deserve healing. It is never too late to seek professional healing and/or a support group.
Ride hail services like Uber will allow you to request a female driver but you do have to read the fine print.
Is there a fee phased in down line when people forget the “why”?
Will you be “punished” in some way for selecting this necessary safety option? ex…longer wait, rudeness, etc….
This is not just about the companies.
This is about you—and the fact that your safety should never be negotiable.
