Younger women falsely believe that women who survived and lived to see our mature years are “bitter” when we discuss sex. The men around them are drum majors of this idea because they stand to gain the most. The more they disparage women who have learned the lessons, the game, and the patterns; the less likely the younger women are to listen. Now, why wouldn’t men want younger women to hear what older women have to say?

Often, what others think is bitterness is clarity that comes from hard work, listening, and paying attention.
