Some Survivors are people who have escaped being stalked relentlessly by someone with delusional disorder. Some people were in a relationship but others simply had a casual encounter with the individual. The next thing they knew, they were in the middle of a real life horror movie for months. But please don’t think of it as something that happens to who society thinks of as “bad people.” 

Dr Marks, helps us to understand that this condition happens to people during pregnancy, in the midst of stress, depression, or perhaps trauma. I recently saw a great episode of NCIS (Season 23 Episode 6, titled Page Turner) which highlighted what the good doctor talks about here. I can’t say more because y’all will get mad at me about “spoiler alerts.”
