Virginia will lower flags Monday to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Cerina Wanzer Fairfax.

 It appears that Virginia will begin taking a long overdue look at outdated laws that trap women in long, drawn-out divorce proceedings. For the sake of safety, women must be legally empowered to divorce and part ways with a toxic and/or abusive partner as soon as possible.
