There is a dangerous lie being whispered and shouted in this world:
That a woman is a feeling.
That our existence—our lives, our flesh, our blood, our history—is simply an emotion someone else can identify with.

Let us be crystal clear:

No one dares look a man in the eye and say, “You are just a feeling.”
No one dares tell a man that his reality, his rights, his body, his voice—
is just an identity, floating on a whim.

But when it comes to women? Of course.
Of course we are the ones reduced, redefined, erased, and rewritten.

That right there is:

Because to define women as a feeling is to erase the truth of who we are.

We are full human beings.
We are not ideas or costumes or roles in someone else’s story.

We are made of:

  • Dreams,

  • Hopes,

  • Fears,

  • Aspirations,

  • Goals,

  • Preferences,

  • Histories,

  • Scars,

  • And experiences as real as any man’s.

We have survived centuries of being used, erased, rewritten, and ignored.
We have been the backbone, the shelter, the muse, the servant, the punching bag, the caregiver, the savior—and still they ask for more.

We are not here to be molded into narratives.
We are not here to be softened and shaped for someone else’s fulfillment.

Women are not weapons.
We are not here to fight on behalf of men’s desires, dreams, or delusions.

Progressive men have their version of what we’re “supposed” to be.
Conservative men have their version.
And men sitting in the middle? Oh, they’ve got visions too.

They all write laws.
They all write scripts.
They all write rules for how women should behave……… in relation to men.

And they are all wrong.

If you believe that women exist to make you feel more complete,
more affirmed, more admired, more manly, more understood—

Then you do not understand womanhood at all.
You understand control.

We have done this before.
We have carried the emotional labor of men’s pain, needs, and egos since the beginning of time.

And what has it brought us?

This world is not better. It is worse.

Worse, because it smiles in our faces while writing us out of existence.
Worse, because it calls us hateful when we dare to protect ourselves.
Worse, because it uses our empathy against us.

🌿 At WeSurviveAbuse.com, we stand with women.
Not as an idea.
Not as an accessory to men
But as full, complex, powerful human beings—rooted in truth, legacy, and sacred resistance.

🗣️ You don’t get to define us. You don’t get to erase us. You don’t get to wear us like a costume and call it freedom.

We are not feelings.
We are not tools.
We are not yours.

We are women.
And we are not moving.
